CHEVALIÉ 2026

Branding, Motion, AI exploration

Chevalié is an equestrian brand that views riding not as control, but as a relationship of connection and communication between a horse and a rider.

The horizontally divided logo represents two distinct beings, horse and human. Chevalié exists in the space between them, with the aim of creating a comfortable experience for both horse and rider.

WHITENY MUSEUM2025

Museum Rebranding, Motion, Custom typography

The Whitney Museum has an open-plan architecture feature which creates flexibility, while movable walls allow changing spatial layout for each exhibition.

An analysis of the museum’s unique elongated proportions of windows, outside panels, and ceiling light rails informed the development of a modular grid system. From this structure, a custom typeface was created using exclusively 90-degree angles and straight lines, indicating flex walls.

CHEZ JANOU
2026

Restaurant Rebranding, Motion

Chez Janou is a bistro defined by a direct combination of Parisian and southern French cuisine.

The logotype draws from Parisian Art Nouveau font, and rustic textures and sun-faded tones reference the warmth of southern France.

Irregular composition, paired with movements of text that gather, reflects the comfort and sociability of a local bistro where people gather and share time.

DANDELION
2024
Custom typeface, Motion

This typeface explores the life cycle of a dandelion through three distinct stages.

The Uppercase represents the full bloom, the Lowercase reflects the rounded base left after the seeds blow away, and the Italic captures their fluid drift in the air.

Much like a dandelion seed floating without knowing where it will land, our twenties are often spent drifting with uncertainty. This typeface is a record of that 'uncertain journey'.
ROSEWOOD (WIP)
2026

Hotel Rebranding, Motion, Illustration

Rosewood is a hotel brand built on the philosophy of
“A Sense of Place,” weaving the culture and atmosphere of each location into a cohesive yet distinctly local experience.

Inspired by this, the project draws from the natural spectrum of red tones found in rosewood. Instead of a single defining color, it applies subtly varied reds that respond to each location, paired with linework inspired by local landmarks and distinct secondary palettes to express each place’s unique character.
FASHION - CORTIS (WIP)
2025

Album cover design

Cortis is a K-pop idol group whose song FaSHioN expresses their desire to pursue their own unique fashion world.

Their love for sagging fashion was actively reflected in the album cover design. Inspired by the song’s message of respecting diversity and individuality in fashion, the cover was created using a variety of fonts to emphasize different identities and styles. Graphics incorporating various fashion accessories and materials were also applied as key visual concepts for the design.
TRAILGATE PARTY - YERBA MADRE CAMPAIGN
2026

Campaign, Motion

Yerba Madre’s Tailgating Party was a campaign created during the Super Bowl season, based on the brand’s nature-oriented philosophy. Instead of traditional tailgating culture, the campaign introduced the concept of “trailgating,” encouraging people to enjoy hiking and outdoor activities while drinking Yerba Madre beverages.

I participated in creating motion graphics content for Instagram stories and posts featured on the brand’s account, which has over 179K followers.
NQAPIA
2025

Branding, illustration

The National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance was a project that allowed me to participate in and learn from the real-world entire rebranding process.

The design uses illustrations of lotus flowers and hibiscus flowers as central visual elements to represent the identity, diversity, and resilience of Queer Asian Pacific Islander communities. Through this project, I explored how cultural symbolism and inclusive visual language can come together to create a meaningful brand identity.
